About

Nearly two decades building businesses, including the hard way.

I've been an entrepreneur, an educator, a strategist, and a founder. I've scaled a business from $16k to multiple 6-figures in under 18 months. I've also learned, the hard way: a business built on the owner's constant presence isn't really a business. It's a job you can't quit

I built Moreland Design to give Michigan business owners what I wish I'd had: a partner who understands every layer of the business, builds the infrastructure that makes it transferable, translates what is essential in todays changing world, helps tell the story of why people should care about the business, and stays in it long enough to see the results compound.

The work I do is foundational. And when the foundation is right, everything else finally works.
